Yakuza chic, death of a gaul
Yakuza chic, death of a gaul
by Iustinian Tomsen
Yesterday I was writing this post on [ida] blog. As I promised to couple of my friends I will feature today a semi apocalyptic look of a modern SL Yakuza. The suit I featured yesterday but with a twist, a snake skin material. This post it is not supposed to promote weapons or a violent lifestyle. It is just the poetic effect of the images and the meditation around old dusty places, full of eyes around, an Asian variant of Elysium Eilde fight club and the death of a gaul. With this blend of elements in front of your imagination eyes lets start.
This is a cleaner look over how a modern Yakuza could be fashionable, without breaking too much the limits of a city almost formal outfit. The snake skin material used in this case has a shinny profile with a perfect fit in this case. The material seems to be thicker, with a leather feeling. The prims used are the same as the velvet suit only the textures are different. I did not used the tie which came with the outfit, simply because I wanted a simple open shirt.
The poses used are coming from FORM, [LAP] and 5ith Order.

I have been pointed to your blog just recently, but so far I am am enjoying your style. Its hard to find things that walk the line between the Gangster/pornstar end of the spectrum and the bookish/slight end.
I have a look which I love which is similar to this. I hold a simple unscripted Katana, and wear a puffy prim-vest from 6ixth.
Bravo.

Very Nice outfit, and it looks great with that bottom pose.
It looks like the suit has a little shine to it, or is that my Imagination?
