Yet another mash-up

by Iustinian Tomsen

Not so many words about SL Fashion today but a question about you your internal organization, your opinions about how SL fashion world is organized and how can we make it better.

My opinion is to let those who are smart, talented, and educated make the best decisions possible for themselves, letting the market sort out which one is right, while not forcing anyone to follow, except by example and offering a better lifestyle. The only acceptable use of force to me is for self-defense, and the best solution of all is to simply refuse entry to your private property to those you don’t like. Though there are exceptions, and is not for blowing off steam, I like to go in combat zones especially in Asian ones where I like to practice my Samurai swordsmanship on lifeless target balls.

Feel free to express yourself by commenting this post.

My question is: Do we have a real civic life or a public and a private sphere ?

The outfit which came in my mind today is pure mash-up. The jacket comes form Aoharu, a place every fashion girl heard about, the thermal is from Massimo, the jeans from Armidi.

This look is a reminiscence of my “slate oriented” post. The general color is slate and if a color would detain a philosophy in itself this one wouldn’t say more but keep it simple.

The look and the feeling of the textures is great and represents the “shinny metallic trend” for the in world fashion. I could use the same low rise chinos but i preferred the more realistic look of the elephant outfitters jeans. I tinted the jacket in order to make it more fit better my personal style. The original color however was sky blue.

Jacket: AOHARU_BT_SpringJacket_skyblue (tinted) by machang Pichot from Aoharu

Thermal: **Long-T Black**by Ryusuke Loon from Massimo!

Jeans: (Elephant Outfitters) Classic Elephant Jeans by Nicole David from Armidi

Shoes: – TESLA – Oxford Shoe *Slate* by Tesla Miles

  1. Totally agree with you Iustinian, I think everyone has to find their own individual style we can only provide them with places that sell high quality or innovitive products but in the end it is the individual who has to piece together an outfit everyday. good look too!

  3. Yeah, I’m with Lawless… no comment on the philosophy, but I like the outfit — love the way that the shoes and jacket echo each other not just in colour but in shininess, contrasting so neatly with the jeans. Nice.

  5. I think that fashion is intensely personal, but I would go further. Fashion blogging does have a bit of a double edged sword. By creating a “trend” you provide the legions of sheep with their fodder. SL is filled with people who give no thought at all to their individual style.

I appreciate blogs, not for the example outfits (though you do have great style Iustinian) but as an indicator of places I can go to make my own choices.

    All of us should.
