Second Life Male Style and Fashion

As the vintage 40s and 50s was hot for the 2007 summer, this year the summer is all about bright collors of the late 80s. So are you ready to go with me in “Boys of Summer” style, are u ready to relly on your youth ? Long and lean was the look for the lower body 20-something years ago. Leggings, zipper-leg, pegged jeans, and Bermuda shorts were all the rage, especially when they were worn with long, tunic style tops. A look at what is hanging on the racks in department stores today tells you that the look is back, with some modifications.

Capri pants are a more recent fashion trend, but this season they have flashed back to earlier times by becoming snugger fitting. Bermuda shorts were not immune to downsizing either. They are no longer the slightly baggy, madras plaid of the preppy generation, but are back in solids and subdued patterns and are much more form fitting.

Who could possible resist this handmade orange shirt and this simple black pleated pants.

And yes I found my ears back, they been lost through inventory. A right neko post should explain some bunne hunting outfits. And what is the right outfit for hunting urban wabbits. Well, I hope it is the one I am starting to write about. Bunnehs are, obviously, the main neko meat plate, yay. And yes they are unbelievable cute, That makes the hunting even more difficult to accomplish.

Clearly the male fashion is pretty stalled right now, the most notable new releases are coming from Novocaine, Dernier Cri (as in skins) and Kari. What I am wearing now, aside my old Abyss Origin skin: Barerose old tanktop, Kari jeans and Kari high-tops the only high-tops I own around all the shoe SL industry. And yes that weapon is a showoff.

Some say I am getting back in my nekohood because I might feel vulnerable to some issues around me, but not, I am getting back there all the time I need to get back to a joyfully and funny time. The only issues are the most obvious lack of time and the another one least obvious the lack of new quality male material.Feline or non-feline. This image I am trying to recreate should be a feline fatale one. The only fatale thigie i could fit is was a shotgun, and yes a pretty amazing one, just ready for various RP and combat action. And returnig to the dominant specie on SL i am founding the Neko community wearing off, the number of nekos in SL is going down. It is not about fashion but i think the gritty and the grunge is getting cleared of creators mind, moving to a more stylish kind to a more clean look.

I could write many thing about how fashionable cats are in their fussiness, and also how much influence cats had onto 1st life fashion. I simply love any kind of kitteh.

And it is the case to not getting caught unprepared. And there is a time you could get unprepared anyway. Not many people around SL creativity circles has thought too much about male underwear. And I am sure least has been thinking about good lingerie products for males. Hot summer outside ppl and it is better to stay indoor. I am letting your imagination go wild about what is going on indoors, away from the outside heat. Well it is the moment to get prepared for those times.

There are not so many creators producing male underwear. Classic or briefs, in fact we can use the fingers from both hands to count the good ones. The look I am bout to bring it to your attention is a mashup of different pieces. The tank it is coming from Beefcake and the briefs from Vitamen.

Belleza skins: Ewan and Lee

The second post about skins in this blog series comes from Tricky Boucher, a very popular skin and shapes creator behind the Belleza brand-name. Belleza started a while ago, I first heard about it from an old friend and since then i was watching Belleza with great interest firstly because I like his first attempts to the most difficult content in SL, skins.

His creations remind me of the southern europe skins, the skin complex on the face is very nice and the body sports only one skin type. The skin is very natural looking having thin drawn details and I am recommending it for everyday use, being very easy for the eye. The eyeliners are strong drawn giving me an almost obsessive hypnotic view and yes I tested inworld on couple of girls and they immediately had a positive reaction. The shape shifting was a lil bit abrupt but my friend Maddox Dupont has already made available shapes oriented to this skin look and style. Ofcourse you can also buy the recomended shapes from Belleza store.

The skin are available in 8 face options each and I only got 3 tones: pale, medium and sun kissed. Each make-up is coming with 2 options a hairline and a bald one. The body hair options are the same. There are more tones available at Belleza store.

Also already available is the new Lee line of skins. The main characteristic of these skins the asian skin tone. The Lee skin goes exttremely well with a mature asian look and among the asian looking skins available in SL is the best. I am planing an asian post in the days to come and I am already planning to use a Lee skin. I am showing only the skin 3 skin tones and I am loving the slight golden metalic shine of the face, I would love to see that on another skins too.

This is the first look at the male range of the new ZERO line of skins from Minnu Models Skins. As most of you know the creator behind male skins of MMS is Thora Charron an amazingly talented person which is behind the most elegant classy line of female clothing of the Cachet brand.

I hope this is a start of more skin reviews scattered between various blogs I am writing for. Skins are the highest important items when you have to choose your appearance and is also the basis and the start of a good looking person. The long expected ZERO line is a turnpoint in what MMS has done before.

Firstly it is idealizing the idea behind a skin inside this metaverse, but it is also keeping a very realistic look of the texture. It is the nicest blend of realism and ideal features I ever seen in SL. The color range is so varied and the skin tones are perfect. It also comes into a miriad of choices: 7 skin tones; pale, light, sunkissed, suntenned, tanned, dark and umber. The dark and umber tones are definately the choice for having an african-american look, and MMS done it perfectly in this range. Beside that the skins are coming with five body hair options and 10 make up option. That makes it wonderfull for picky persons, mainly because it is very easy to fine grain the choices. Ofcourse I am always using the eyeliner ones.

Secondly the women ones are also beutifull continuing the tradition of perfect looks and various make-up choices. Also in this review you will get a look to a Aitui product, which is marking a comeback of Jesse Aitui. He restarted using his tallent to make excellent products.
