Second Life Male Style and Fashion

Yes, I am afraid that, like in every season, after 25 august, summer is getting out of style. Fall New York fashion week is about to start on 5 September.

They are people voicing out that this fall color is about brown, and I would said: “wow, that is so innovative”. They are other 1st life stylist that would say that this fall is about black and red. I would team up with them, as you already know. But for now let’s see what SL fashion and style community could offer you, a styled man, to wear to the beginning of this fall.

And to keep it NY mainstream like, let’s do a twisted brown stripped pants and a blue leather jacket. Of course you are not going to see this on streets of NY, just because they will adopt the other black and red strategy, they are new yorkers after all, they will fall for black. And they are not the only ones since they are different fashion houses of SL preparing outfits and styles respecting the black and red for this fall.

Also this look, I am about to present to you is lacking accessories. But you already know that I am just starting your imagination and accessorize is pretty easy these days.

The outfit is based on the brown (original yellow but tinted to a darker tone) striped pants matched with brown cowboy boots and blue crocodile leather jacket.

Definitely the white is a summer classic of all times. The beauty of the white costume dress is its versatility, light and airy though the day you can wear it with your favourite shoes or in the evening glam up a bit with a hat or a simple and classic watch. The suit comes from King for Men backed by Kerem Lunt. If you are in need of a classic summer male outfit that would be a good choice. After a pretty long absence Shai Delacroix is back to SL and in our much loved fashion community. Her charm and her well being is back too. To mark her restart she created a damn sexy shirt matched with a various jeans tones. She is trying to release these new items today so you better watch her store and her group.

Shai is one of the most prestigious fashion creators of SL, her clothes has been the most beautiful, her fashion sense and her joy of life is well known. The most important points in her creations are the textures she is using. She is using mostly hand drawn materials, full of colors and surprising us with the simple but stylish style.

This is not a post directly intent to be fashionable and stylish, and also is not a post which will make you or recommend you to buy something. This is post about me and my intents on what is this blog becoming.

Oh no, don’t think that I will stop making fashion notes about products and styles, I will not stop mash-up styles and different creators either. I think the right direction for me and this blog is to watch over the fashion world not so up-close but watch it like a more extending and global phenomenon. So instead of occasional style you will also get to know my point of view about what is going around, who I am and what are my ideas. I am also going to write about noticeable people in the SL fashion community, who are the opinion leaders and how this community can be perfected and enhanced. So you may believe now that is going to be full of boring texts and black and white things. I am also going to tell you who created me, who helped me to become what I am. Maybe I am going to choose a person and talk about, with their agreements of course.

Maybe this will upset people but I really hope it wont. And I also know the almost nobody is interested in point of views. So I am not finished just because for some weeks now I was out if inspiration to write more ample descriptions. Yes I am not afraid to voice my opinions even over time my opinions upset some of my friends.

What will define this upcoming phase of my blog, we will see that. In the meantime this blog remains totally dedicated to fashion, but will also regard community and what fashion is building around it.

It is definitely not going to be also a community watchdog, we have plenty of those already. The irony is that in their simplicity it is important just to bark, doesn’t matter what direction they are doing it.

My modeling carries will also run at full speed, I am not going to drop invites to model for different agencies. I am actually modeling and styling for more than ten modeling agencies. Most of the agencies I am in, I belong to them because in one way or another I am always finding good friends and special people in them. Of course one may can tell that I would need only one glorious agency but SL is not like that. Modeling and styling jobs are still scarce and a vast majority of agencies don’t provide any kind of help stating that representing the very status of a certain agency is enough for us.

So this is the direction I want to go towards.

A small update from Laqroki this morning, Winter DiPrima the man behind The Apparel store of Laqroki made some nice perfectly casual V-Necks perfectly fit for a back to school outfit. I hope I will get the time to make a more extensive post about what is this blog going to evolve to.

No, I am not trying to make a fashion splash in SL but I thouhgt to write a post about painted… stuff. Painted clothing were hot items in early 90’s and since then they make it into high fashion shows. It started with painted jeans and the climax was 2002 when we had the chance to see couple of painted body models on different catwalks. Since then painted stuff has entered the realm of punk couture, announcing the widespreading of these styles. The most stylish and easy to find painted fashionable items in SL are jeans and high-tops or plain shoes. The pieces I am going to show you are coming from Aoharu and Massimo.

Just a very small update on some wonderful hair made by Falastear Aeon of Little Heaven. She is a very promising creator and this is the second hair style of hers which got my attention.

Sometime you really dont need complicate layered outfits when you are looking for a just a simple but styled look. Some may say now that I got an obsession for school boy outfits, I say reminiscence of my school time youth. The outfit I am going to feature is some really cool looking school boy. So if you wanna play naughty there is also a teacher outfit available but only in feminine version, sighs. I am grateful to one of the sweetest of my new found friends for showing me this outfit.

It is, of course, coming from a Japanese designer, still amazing me with their creativity and sense of style, completely different from european one. After all Japan is the fashion capital of that half of the world. Ofcourse we in Europe have many fashion capitals and so many styles. I guess that european interculturality has always been pushing me to Asia designs. And being an easterner maybe I got pushed more towards their values.

Just a simple update on Argrace and Novocaine. Argrace through AIR Winx was featured before on SLStyle blog but Novocaine is a first. Novocaine is a new successful enterprise of Second Life fashion scene, Caine Lewinter being the creator behind it. They are concentrating on expanding their line of products. I can testify that the hairs they are producing is a very well balanced mix of scultpies and flexies and it is the new preferred hair of many non-fashion related friends.

Featuring now from Novocaine, the Mr. Wayne Denim jeans in a fade color. The color and the high quality cuffs are exactly the ones i like. The cuffs are straight going extremely well for a clean look. The Argrace shirt is white based but you can find a large color range at his store. The sculpted attachments are best ever, Air is managing scuplties very well and the amount of time used to fit them to you body and style is limited.
