Wrong target – the user is not your enemy

Since my SL time-out I had the chance to embrace a more wider view of anything virtualy world related and oh boy there is bad.

Undergoing we have the most lame decision Linden Lab could make. We going have guidelines to the real open viewers. Right, every content creator is about to commit murder against me since LL managed to redirect their attention to some easy going and totally understandable but unknown yet set of guidelines.

Why have the Lindens epicly failed in this situation. Because you are not supposed to go after the money bringing people, ie. those who are using alternate viewers. And you are not supposed to go after the pro-users of SL. Linden Lab, messing with your hardcore users is bad, happened before and by fail after fail we are going to see this happening again. You are not supposed to mess with the user end you are supposed to strengthen up the platform. Please Linden Lab if you failed to put your platform up to the required standards, just don’t make that epic fail so public. You think that any content creator is not going to figure it out ? Let send some behind the firewall vaporware ! Wonder what IBM is going to think about your guidelines for your new behind the firewall projects. Oh wait, they are using their clients already. Guess what is left to manage now after the failing model of the closed sourced server is only the losses.
